Writing for the Hoover Institution’s Freedom Frequency, Ross Levine imagines letters from Adam Smith to the American people on the 250th anniversary of the nation’s founding.

Each letter draws directly from Smith’s own words and ideas, primarily from The Theory of Moral Sentiments and The Wealth of Nations.
